About Our Doctors

Grace Chung, M.D.

Since January 1991, Dr. Grace Chung has been providing her patients with exceptional dermatological care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Smith College before attending medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in New York. Dr. Chung then spent two years training in internal medicine at SUNY University and three years training in dermatology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Chung feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of her field. Thus, she maintains memberships in many professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and she is currently a member of the New Jersey Dermatology Society and Philadelphia Dermatology Society.

Along with working at Premier Dermatology, Dr. Chung has been teaching family practice residents as a preceptor for the past 20 years. She is also a church youth group teacher and an ardent supporter of Urban Promise in Camden.

An esteemed member of the community, Dr. Chung has been voted as a "Top Doc" numerous times in South Jersey magazine, Philadelphia magazine and U.S. News.

Kenneth Herman, D.O.

Dr. Kenneth Herman has offered outstanding, comprehensive care for the past 24 years. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed a family practice residency in 1985, a dermatology residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1989 and a dermatopathology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 1990.

To stay current with the latest advancements in the medical community, Dr. Herman holds memberships in many prestigious professional organizations. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, New Jersey Dermatology Society and the Philadelphia Dermatology Society. Dr. Herman is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology by the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.

In his spare time, Dr. Herman volunteers his talents by providing skin cancer screenings. He also enjoys camping, traveling, playing piano, attending orchestras and physical fitness.

Christina Patrone, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Christina Patrone is joining Premier Dermatology in December 2022. She is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

She comes from a unique background as a former music major at Columbia College, Columbia University where she graduated cum laude. After several years as a recording artist, she attended Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons for her medical degree. She also completed a fellowship in Cutaneous Oncology with Dr. Larisa Geskin, with a focus on cutaneous T-cell lymphomas.

Dr. Patrone went on to complete a Transitional Year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by her Dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital -Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she served as a Chief Resident. She received excellent training in complex medical dermatology at Milstein Hospital, pediatric dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of New York, and cared for veterans at the Bronx Veterans Affairs Hospital. She has a strong background in clinical and basic science research, has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed academic journals, and has a passion for teaching.

Dr. Patrone cares for patients within all aspects of dermatology, with a special interest in skin cancers and cutaneous lymphoma. She performs dermatologic surgery along with cosmetic procedures including neurotoxin (i.e. Botox®), soft tissue augmentation (fillers), and laser/light-based devices. She is experienced in treating all skin types and ages, including children.

She has recently moved to South Jersey with her husband and two young children and is excited to join the Premier Dermatology family. 

Shelly Schneider, A.P.N.

For 12 years, Shelly Schneider has been an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology. Well educated and thoroughly trained, she attended Jefferson University in Philadelphia and Rutgers University before earning a Post-Master's Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Shelly keeps herself up-to-date with the latest certifications by holding memberships in many professional organizations. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and she is a member of the New Jersey State Nurses Association and the Society of Dermatologic Physicians Assistants.

When she's not at the office, Shelly enjoys volunteering with skin cancer screenings. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher who has over 500 hours of training!

Anna Ng, P.A.

Since 2007, Anna Ng has been practicing as a board certified Physician Assistant. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and has completed the Diplomate Fellowship training program achieving Diplomate Fellow status within the organization. Prior to practicing in Dermatology, Anna has past clinical experience in Emergency Medicine and Student Health, and also served as a professor and Academic Coordinator in a graduate Physician Assistant program.

Anna obtained her undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
